The Opportunity
From rapid response and performance improvement to operational efficiency and life- cycle management, Service is one of our fastest-growing areas.
You will execute service work within the Services Solutions Team in Spain. Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will act as the person between customers and extended Hitachi Energy teams, and you will collaborate closely with him in the department's continuous improvement process, leading defined improvement actions and supporting business processes.
The position it's a temporary role of 6 months to cover a paternity leave. Candidates will need to be based in Cordoba and willing to travel on national territory, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites.

How you will make an impact
- Managing all aspects of Service projects to agreed-upon customer contract requirements and ensuring all technical, safety, quality, schedule, compliance and financial targets are met.
- Overseeing and monitoring on each stage of project the development of project plan deliverables ensuring best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, results and health, safety and the environment
- Building strong relationships and taking part in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.
- Providing on-site or remote support, when it is necessary, for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories.
- Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment and methods.
- Giving support in the implementation of service solutions business processes and ongoing service projects.
- Being part of the team to identify areas for continuous improvement, leading initiatives and collaborating in the development and growth of the services team and business.

Your background
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer or similar. A Master's Degree is not mandatory but may be considered a plus.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in the electrical/industrial sector, working as Project Engineer or Services Engineer. Experience with electrical substations is desired.
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing on the electrical/industrial sector.
- Fluent in Spanish and English both written and spoken.
- Proven leadership skills, with a flexible, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
