In R&D, we are looking for a (Senior) Reliability Engineer (80-100%). We offer you a job in a project-oriented, dynamic, and agile environment with ambitious goals in a modern R&D environment. You will lead and develop projects with a focus on reliability, supporting product development and manufacturing of high voltage products, such as GIS, AIS, circuit breaker, surge arrester and power capacitors. You will implement and apply sophisticated reliability analysis methods, also leading and participating in stress tests of our products. The work will be performed in collaboration with Product Management, Service, Production Lines and R&D Centers, in a globally distributed organization

How you'll make an impact
- Lead Design for Reliability projects, planning and applying reliability methods (DOE, Weibull analysis, RBD, etc.) with a focus on improving high voltage products over their life cycle
- Develop reliability monitoring approaches based on experimental results, numerical simulations, and technical literature
- Coordinate and support reliability tests and develop new standards for testing
- Prepare and moderate DFMEAs, as well as participate in PFMEAs
- Collaborate with globally distributed partners, including Product Management, Service, Production Lines, and R&D Centers
Your background
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of Reliability
- Project management and good communication skills to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
- Hands-on, creative, independent, and solution-oriented professional
- Knowledge of data science and programming
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Reliability training and/or certification is a plus
