How you'll make an impact
- Development of gas-insulated switchgear with a focus on SF6 alternative gases and high voltage equipment
- Collaborate with internal and external partners during technology and product development
- Organization of development & type test series (high power, high voltage, high current, mechanical, or environmental, etc.) according to international standards in GIS product development projects and for customer qualification
- Collaboration with internal and external laboratories
- Summarize development results in technical reports, presentations, and design guidelines
- Participate in complex quality cases and continuous improvement activities

Your background
- Electrical engineer, physicist, mechanical engineer, or related fields with professional experience; a PhD will be also considered as working experience
- Experience in high-voltage switchgear development is an advantage
- Team player with a creative, independent, and solution-oriented approach
- Proficient in English; German is an advantage
- Good communication skills in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
- Project leader skills or willingness to acquire them
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
