You will be responsible for ensuring quality in project documentation, driving continuous improvement, and mentoring colleagues in HVDC plant mechanical design. How You'll Make an Impact
Guide and mentor your design team towards project deliveries.
Ensure adherence to design principles, guidelines, and standards.
Perform station layout design and detail design of steel support, connectors, and insulators.
Provide technical support for installation and commissioning activities.
Prepare purchase documents and evaluate suppliers for switchyard material.
Prepare project documentation and interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge in NX for CAD activities, 3D modeling, and 2D drafting.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
8+ years of experience in mechanical plant design for HVDC stations.
Experience leading mechanical plant design for at least 2 HVDC stations.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
Advanced experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawings/layouts in NX/TC.
Experience in mentoring engineers and supporting internal processes.
