How You'll Make an Impact
- Perform technical analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and service.
- Work from instructions, drawings, proposals, and specifications.
- Prepare specifications and related documents per requirements.
- Review and analyze engineering data, documents, and reports.
- Consult with other engineering groups to ensure suitability of engineering criteria.
- Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions.
- Allocate time to customer-focused activities, product care, and operational troubleshooting.
- Assist in preparing specifications, selecting materials, drafting proposals, and preparing licensing and safety documents.
- Develop 2-D and 3-D models using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD and CREO Parametric).
- Learn and apply basic numerical tolerance calculations and stack-up analysis.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering or a related field, with 3 to 7 years of experience.
- Experience with Pro-E or any 3D CAD modeling software is highly desired but not required.
- Experience with Windchill data management or any PLM software is highly desired but not required.
- Preferably, some experience designing or developing electromechanical products, mainly transformer components, is highly desired but not required.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
