The business unit designs and delivers complete substations for distribution and transmission grids. We offer an interesting position in an international project environment and various development opportunities within design and engineering, research and development. The position is located at our office in Middelfart.
As the work is carried out in projects where each case is unique, your role will be very varied, such as responsibility for all activities related to secondary design, which includes everything from design to final delivery. Examples of daily activities are developing design drawings, generating basic documents for construction, performing engineering calculations and commissioning. Your responsibilities
- Prepare and review substation documentation such as single line diagrams, protection diagrams, interlocking diagrams, AC and DC drawings, calculations, control and protection panel drawings, IED configurations, cables and material lists.
- Conduct technical evaluation of supplier proposals and approve delivered equipment or service as fit for purpose.
- Provide technical support during the pre-FAT and FAT phase and manage installation and commissioning activities. Prepare project documentation within scope of delivery.
- Participate in testing and commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project manager, design (Lead, Primary, Civil and Commissioning), planner, quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure smooth project integration and successful results in an international project environment.

Your background
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Danish.
- Proactive, result-orientated person with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as reliability and ability to work under pressure.
- Willing to engage in international projects.
- Previous experience with engineering work related to high and medium voltage substations is considered an advantage.
- Experience with design software such as E3, AutoCAD, PCM600 is considered an advantage.
