We are seeking a highly skilled SAP CoE Project Manager to lead and manage various SAP projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP functional or technical areas, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive SAP projects to successful completion while ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SAP projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track and report on project performance
  • Provide expertise in SAP functional and technical areas, including SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and others preferably in S4AHANA projects
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP CoE

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on SAP projects
  • Proven experience managing SAP projects in a hybrid work environment
  • Strong understanding of SAP functional and technical areas, including configuration, customization, and integration
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, ServiceNow)
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
