Hitachi Energy has a exciting opportunity as a SAMPro ServiceNow Product Owner you'll be responsible for overseeing the integration and development of SAMPro with the ServiceNow platform, ensuring the alignment of business needs with ITSM processes.
You'll also be working with IT operations, security, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless software asset management and integration with other IT processes.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a bridge between the business stakeholders, end users, and development teams, ensuring that product features and improvements align with the organization's goals.
- Defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and setting clear expectations for product delivery.
- Gathering and analyzing requirements from stakeholders, translating them into clear and actionable user stories or product backlogs.
- Collaborating with technical teams to configure and customize ServiceNow and SAMPro for optimal asset management, including licensing, procurement, and compliance workflows.
- Ensuring that the ServiceNow interface is user-friendly and intuitive for users working with SAMPro modules.
- Evaluating and enhancing the product's functionality over time, iterating based on feedback, performance, and evolving business needs.
- Ensuring that SAMPro within ServiceNow supports software compliance, audits, and financial management needs related to software assets.
- Overseeing data accuracy and completeness in SAMPro, helping ensure that asset tracking and reporting are consistent and reliable.

Background:
