R&D Intern for Multi-Objective Optimization Design Tool for Power Electronic Converter Systems
At Hitachi Energy Research, we closely collaborate with business areas to develop foundations for the next generation of Power Grids products. Located in the proximity of Zurich, the research center employs approximately 60 scientists from all over the world with cross-disciplinary expertise. In the Systems Integration and Physics Team we address the challenges and opportunities in enhancing grid flexibility and facilitating renewable energy proliferation. A key focus of our work is multi-physics modeling for power electronic systems, which plays a critical role in fast-growing applications such as electric vehicle charging, energy storage and renewables like wind and solar. In this context, we offer an internship position which provides the opportunity of working on real-world projects in an international team of research scientists.
