Mission statement:
Project Buyer for effective support GPQS tendering team to sell Hitachi energy's electrical system integration package in transmission & distribution substation, support project execution team to deliver project on contractual schedule and quality requirements.
Your responsibilities:
- You will support tendering team to prepare high quality of package offer, deeply involve in the proposal phase and proposal short list for materials in tendering project.
- You will attend tender kick off meeting to make out tendering strategy and sourcing plan, develop new supplier to meeting GPQS business perspective and conduct qualification for new suppliers and lead negotiation with suppliers to meeting project target.
- You will do evaluation of offers from suppliers together with tendering team, create and update procurement plans according to the pre-cal of a project, to specify main commodities, budget and candidate suppliers.
- You will monitor purchasing process compliance technical clarification and cost justification.
- You will make sure the process is in compliance with company's policy and take joint decision of supplier selection, between project team and tendering team.
- You will do project data maintenance for SCM Database, PO control and support PM to manage supplier's performance.
- You will conduct supplier performance & qualification review as per Hitachi energy's guidelines.

Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or business management.
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical or electrical product purchasing/sourcing experience.
- More than 1 year's supervisor or management position experience is preferred.
- Experience with international terms of trade.
- Experience with ISO standards and quality certification processes.
- Be familiar with MS Word, Excel.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English.
