As PMO Manager for Power Quality you will lead the Project Management Office team, support the Project Managers, set the targets for the projects and ensure the local portfolio of projects is managed consistently.

You will be a member of the operations Management team within the Center of Competence for Power Quality Solutions. The position is based in Västerås, Sweden.

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to implement continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for the local project operation, in alignment with BU and LBU business strategies.
  • Develop and continuously improve processes based on industry best practices. Ensure that findings from lessons learned from project execution are incorporated in continuous improvement actions.
  • Participate in bid or sales phase which involves activities such as estimating and resource planning. Oversee project management activities at the portfolio level through project reviews with the management team and Project Managers.
  • Oversee the proper application of contract and claim management methods in accordance with Hitachi Energy's policies, and contractual agreements.
  • Lead the PMO team to establish and enforce an effective project management approach to achieve both project and organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of the PMO

Your background

  • Extensive Project Management experience with EPC component as well as in the electrical field.
  • Deep knowledge about taking full ownership of the execution of complex projects and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record of extensive leadership experience with staff responsibility.
  • English proficiency is required, additional language skills are meritorious
  • Experience in transmission and distribution industry from advantage
