Mission statement:

Lead engineer of projects design (Including primary design, secondary design, and mechanical design) and ensure that all related design is performed in accordance with contractual agreements, quality standards, as well as schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will create for customer submission document as a deliverable, following work is done to prepare the customer submission book, preparation of customer submission documents which are created by Japan side, translation work for Submitted deliverable from CNHHS Correction instructions and additional work of the CNHHS created document and replacement from HE frames to Hitachi frame Submit documents to the customer to review/approve.
  • You will explain the summed documents to customer if needed, also response inquiries from customer, conduct internal technical review (Before placed order to CNHHS, after received deliverable from CNHHS, the time of Completion of the engineering), the technical review is carried out at the following timing, before placed order to CNHHS : confirmation of product specifications and contents of order from Sales Eng and Sharing design issues and problem.
  • After received deliverable from CNHHS, you will make sure it meets the required specification and also the contents of the corrections if needed and get an internal agreement as design review, the time of Completion of the engineering.
  • As a final confirmation of design phase, you will check fully completion of dealing with issues into deliverable, check to see if the problem is leaking and finally, contact the production start of CNHHS through internal verification. You will arrange processing for external sales and purchase of internal goods. if there is a difference in the specifications, a specification correction document is issued to CNHHS, instruct to procurement team for goods which plan to arrange from Japan side and check the quality of Engineering when changing specifications.
  • You will make sure that the changes are reflected properly in the design, ensure that the countermeasures for technical issues are reflected properly, and that the product design is considered to affect other products, if there will occur customer specification change, contact CNHHS accordingly, when cost fluctuations occur by changes, submit an estimate to Project Manager and Sales support engineer and contact customer if CNHHS feedback some uncontrol change during project execution, e.g., materials replacement due to purchase limit or solution change.
  • You will design Examination of the Class 2 pressure vessel in Japan and preparation of Engineering documents at the time of inspection, the inspected vessels in the past: submit the design examination by utilizing the past inspected documents to designated foreign inspection authorities. The new vessels will prepare a new design examination documents and submit them to the designated foreign inspection authorities. Arrangement the bursting test to CNHHS and witness the appearance tests at the arrival on domestic place if needed (customer site, Japan port).
  • The following work will be done as the design progress management, check the design engineering schedule, plan of the amount of design work time and confirmation of actual performance Sharing of issues and confirming measures to be proposed Check the costs of engineering process, consider cost reduction items if needed Report engineering progress and cost progress to Project Management.
  • You will conduct seismic and surge analysis in the project process if needed, optimum specification examination for overall power, proposal for improvement of specifications, etc and analysis result evaluation, finalize the report.

Your background:

  • You hold Electrical or Mechanical engineering bachelor or above.
  • More than 5 years of experience in high voltage product GIS design or engineering.
  • Fast study capability.
  • Self-motivation under working pressure.
  • Highly organized and efficient coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and management of customer relations.
  • Fluent writing and oral Japanese and English.
