The opportunity
The Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products in alignment with customer demands, factory capacity, and material availability, this role requires close coordination with production teams, material planners to ensure that all production targets are met while optimizing efficiency and the planner will track progress, resolve production issues, and continuously improve production planning processes.
How you'll make an impact
- Production Scheduling as developing, maintain, and updating daily, weekly, and monthly production
and ensuring the production load is aligned with the factory capacity, sales forecast, and other inputs such as maintenance and coordinating with the Master Planner to integrate production milestones and sequences into the overall factory load. - Monitoring and Adjustments as tracking and monitoring production progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust production schedules as needed to avoid delays and meet deadlines.
- Ensuring any underloading or overloading of production capacity is addressed and raise awareness among stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional collaborating with Material Planners to ensure the availability of materials required for production, avoiding any interruptions due to material shortages, attending biweekly and weekly production planning meetings, including reviews with Engineering, Sales, and the SCM team, to ensure alignment on production needs.
- Participate in bi-weekly review meetings with key stakeholders such as FF Coordinators, SCM Buyers, and Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of projects, KPI Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain and update shopfloor KPIs monthly, and report to management on production progress and any deviations from the planned targets.
- Preparing and presenting production data for weekly Production Plan Progress Review meetings with the planning team.
- Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement as identifying and resolving production issues related to schedule deviations, material shortages, or equipment failures, ensuring minimal disruption to the production process

Your background
- A bachelor's degree in production management, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred and diploma with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role within a manufacturing
environment. - Experience with production management tools and ERP (SAP) systems is essential for effective planning and
scheduling. - Strong understanding of production processes, factory load management, and capacity planning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
