The opportunity
The Power Transformers factory is currently in an expansive phase, and as a Production Manager, you will face several challenges, including improving our quality and driving productivity. You will play a central role in ensuring the quality and delivery of our products while supporting your team in their development and the growth of the organization.
We are creating a new production section by separating parts of the manufacturing process, focusing on the areas of Vapor Phase Drying and the Oil Treatment Plant, which are crucial steps for our transformers. As Production Manager, you will from the start lead a team of six production engineers, with possibilities to expand the team. The responsibilities of the team are to ensure the quality and performance of the processes in our Vapor Phase Drying Plants and oil handling equipment. You will also manage the extensive ramp-up, including the investments of two new VPD plants. You are responsible for driving quality improvement projects to enhance our results and ensure reliable processes.

Ludvika is the Center of Excellence in HVDC Transformer manufacturing, and you will be exposed to the entire global organization. You and your team will play a key role in the company by interacting with various stakeholders with different technical as well as operational requirements. The team is responsible for strategic development as well as to manage and solve the daily challenges. You will address technical questions from your team and the rest of the organization. Therefore, we seek someone who is flexible at handling people at different levels within the organization and remains calm and professional in communication. How you'll make an impact
- Act as a role model by being supportive, handling change with commitment and engaging your team to perform at their best.
- Set clear targets and challenge the organization with a structured approach.
- Drive and align the organization to reach set goals and contribute to the development of Power Transformers.
- Ensure adherence to current standards, quality instructions, and method provisions; evaluate processes and develop procedures for improvement.
- Drive and structure upcoming and ongoing investments.
- Ensure compliance with current HSE regulations, evaluate risks, and develop processes.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of work experience as a technical engineer, preferably in a production engineering are, with a good understanding of technical discussions.
- Leadership experience is a significant advantage.
- Experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably in a process based business.
- Knowledge and experience in quality improvement and procedures, such as Statistical Process Control, Lean and Six Sigma.
- As a person we see that you are open-minded, communicative, and able to motivate others.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, as you will be part of a company that operates on a global stage.
