The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. Mission Statement:

  • Lead a function focused on the optimization of the Production organization's assembly methods, processes and equipment in close cooperation with Production management and Research and Development (R&D)
  • Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new equipment's, facilities, etc.
  • Leading footprint discussions by involvement with cross functional team in the factory and also responsible for annual Capital investment as agreed in the annual budget process
  • Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Health & safety Reinforces and maintains a culture of health & safety in all production development initiatives
  • Production process Ensures that the production process aligns with the project targets, approves the design, both for internal or external developed process, and performs the final test in accordance with the projects data.
  • Ensures the efficiency of all external production processes.
  • Production cost Defines production costs and the sequence of the working phases of a new production process in order to minimize cost and maximize quality.
  • Budget Develops and proposes the estimated budget of investments necessary forthe development of new products and processes.
  • Suppliers Supports the Supply Chain Management department in selecting suppliers, evaluating the technology and capacity, and determining the best option.
  • Optimization and standardization Cooperate with R&D and or local and international teams in the optimization of technical standards and supports engineers in the definition or configuration of new design rules.

Your Background

  • BE (Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of >15 years in areas of production, manufacturing, Production Engineering and maintenance activities preferably with Transformer Industries or similar product
  • Evaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required along with other preferable languages such as Hindi, Gujarati etc.
