We are looking for a Production Development Manager for our BU in Lodi.

Your responsibilities:

• Primary role of the Production Development Manager is to design, organise and control various business processes using optimum resources like machine, space, labour, energy etc.
• Responsible for improving productivity of the plant by applying various Industrial Engineering Techniques.
• Must have knowledge of work study, time & motion study, work standardization. Knowledge of PMTS (pre-determined motion time study) tool like "MOST" is preferable.
• Hands on experience of factory layouts, design and implementation of physical flow of materials in the shop floor, using lean concepts, Design and implement material handling systems etc.
• Drive continuous improvement programs using tools like Kaizen, kanban etc.
• Should be familiar with best manufacturing practices & tools for lean manufacturing.
• Should be competent in designing jigs & fixtures ergonomically.
• Must have exposure in assembly shops involving make to order and make to stock scenarios.
• Experience of co-ordination with various cross functions.
• Hands on experience of AutoCAD & Pro-E are required.

• Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
• Experience of handling a team of 3 to 4 employees and co ordination with cross functions to achieve the target.
• Experience of 5 to 8 years is required.
• Good Communication skills, Planning and Scheduling.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving, 4Q, 5'S, Kaizen Activities.
• Quick learner with interest in and ability to master new technologies.
• Proficiency in English and Italian is required
• Basic overview of SAP environment is desirable.
• Know how on Lean manufacturing and pull production systems are desirable.
