The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Solar and BESS to join our team and lead the growth of our transformers, crafting and executing strategic marketing and sales plans.
In this role, you will oversee sales performance, nurture customer relationships, identify new opportunities, negotiate complex deals, and support marketing initiatives.

How you'll make an impact
- Drive commercial sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, agreeing on short- and long-term goals.
- Create sales plans with the local sales organization, ensuring implementation and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate closely with internal contacts within DRY Sales teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
- Achieve budget targets for the DRY business through the dedicated team or directly with key customers.
- Monitor market trends and adjust plans to meet changing market and competitive landscapes.
- Develop strategic plans for defined markets, incorporating the GPG growth strategy.
- Support local Sales organizations or key customers in determining the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers for DRY business development.

Your background
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with a proven track record of success.
- Technical background in electrical engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
- Expertise in transformers and their applications.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Italian and/or German is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or other ERP tools.
