Your Responsibilities:
- Metal Fabrication Expertise:
- Leverage your experience in metal fabrication, including welding, CNC punch, plasma cutting, laser cutting, and bending centers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and ensure high-quality output.
- Problem Solving:
- Investigate technical issues and establish corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures.

- Analyze manufacturing process flows and related data to continuously enhance safety, quality, and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve throughput.
- Evaluate new process technologies to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Lead testing activities and collaborate with external suppliers.
- Define and execute CapEx initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to design and optimize production layouts, tooling, and fixtures for maximum productivity.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Manufacturing Environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and methodologies such as Kaizen, 4Q, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, DMAIC, and Gemba.
- Work authorization permitting employment in the United States.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL databases and data management to analyze process data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification through and accredited organization is a plus.
