As a Planning and Fulfillment Manager, you will be crucial in driving our initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time, ensuring the seamless availability of materials and resources. Knowledge of SAP is required for this role.
Position Summary:
The Planning & Fulfillment Manager - Power Quality Products will oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from demand forecasting and production planning to inventory management and timely delivery of the power quality product portfolio by strategically managing production schedules and inventory levels across the manufacturing facility. Seamless manufacturing/assembly of capacitor banks (pole mount, shunt, metal enclosed) within our high-voltage components business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing/operations and a keen eye for optimizing processes to enhance the overall manufacturing/assembly process, with specific expertise in SAP systems. This position will report to the General Manager of - Capacitors & Filters business.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall work of the Planning & Fulfillment Department, overseeing daily work and reporting to the General Manager.
- Responsible for developing and continuously improving business processes and procedures, as well as overall customer satisfaction.
- Accountable to effectively balance installed capacity with customer demand and workload.
- Planning: Oversee the site planning process, including Demand Planning, Sales & Operation Planning, Master Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and Materials Planning
- Fulfillment: Ensure on-time material availability on the shop floor and coordinate responses to unplanned events
- Inventory Management: Own the inventory forecast and optimize inventory processes for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and contract assets
- Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize customer delivery, lead-time, inventory, material availability, and resource utilization
- Warehouse Management: Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget, develop programs to enhance warehouse performance, and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental directives
- Technology Integration: Provide leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.
- People Leadership: Lead and develop the local planning, operative purchasing, order handling, and warehouse teams
- Customer and Order Management: Support the profitable execution of customer and purchase orders in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and strategic procurement
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations/manufacturing, process engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in production line management or quality control; Possess the required awareness of quality, safety, and environment.
- Familiar with the principles and manufacturing knowledge of high-voltage switchgear products such as capacitors (pole mount capacitor banks, metal enclosed capacitor banks)
- Understand relevant local laws and regulations, be familiar with quality and safety management, on-site organization and control, and employee training.
- Possess the necessary knowledge of quality, safety, and environment for the position.
- Strategic vision for Functional Knowledge/Skill.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using SAP order management systems and related software and planning tools.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous process improvement.
- Ability to analyze and propose solutions for planning and fulfillment challenges
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies
