Your responsibilities:
- You will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Distribution Transformer design covering different countries.
- You will be responsible to generate external parts meeting factory limitation, guideline and checklist as per IEEE/IEC/IS standards.
- You will be responsible for development of various application transformers designs in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on the purchase order requirements, ordering specification in different areas of transformer Mechanical design.
- You will create of customized designs with high priority on safety design aspects and identification and control of hazards, contribute to design reviews and verification following established QA/QC process, provide feedback on design aspects and make necessary modifications.
- You will optimize designs to meet updated standard, incorporating new products, components and functionalities, create and review engineering drawings, specifications and plan required by manufacturing, fabrication or construction, be participant & presenter in technical meetings with customers and ensure utmost customer satisfaction.
- You will effectively communicate among multiple functional groups (sales/marketing, project management, supply chain, suppliers, manufacturing, etc.) for the flawless execution of customer requirements, support and collaborate colleagues at Local Engineering Team and at Global Engineering members.
- You will plan, conduct, coordinate, develop recommendations using advanced engineering concepts, process and provide cost effective quality solutions for customer requirement.

Your background:
- You hold bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering.
- More than 2 years of experience working in Power Transformer industrial is preferred.
- Further experience working in Mechanical design for Power Transformers would be advantageous.
- Able to use Cre-o would be advantageous and understanding of Power Transformer Mechanical Design would be advantageous.
- Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
- Good communication skill in English Language oral and written form.
- Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
