Hitachi Energy's Marketing & Sales Trainee Program aims to jumpstart your career with a totally unique journey within our Marketing & Sales functions in Sweden. It will take you through four 3-month long work assignments where you'll have the opportunity to explore and widen your knowledge within Account Management, Channel Management, Digital and Service Sales.

Your journey as a trainee within the Marketing & Sales program will take you through each assignment, which will be tailored to both you and to the business. During this journey you will encounter many different business segments and experience career enhancing learning opportunities within the Marketing & Sales team.

Throughout the journey you will be provided with continuous support from a personal mentor from our senior leadership team, structured career development and coaching. Your responsibilities

  • Gain a broad and deep understanding of Hitachi Energy's solutions, portfolio including digital, software, services.
  • Engage with supervisors, and mentors to develop your sales skills and knowledge of various sales management processes as well as technical products.
  • Document sales activities, i.e., keeping records of sales and order details, often using systems like Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain relationships establishing connections with new clients and nurturing existing ones within the local unit.
  • Communicating with potential customers (internal and external) through calls, emails, or visits, often across different time zones.
  • Work on assigned projects/KPIs, focus on partnering with key stakeholders, and deliver on required tasks.
  • Proactively understand local marketing plan and actively participate in supporting the local team.

Your background

  • To succeed in this role, you have minimum 2 years' experience in sales.
  • It is an advantage if you hold a University Degree in Marketing & Sales, Engineering or Finance, or another related discipline (studies to be completed before the start date).
  • Proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English is mandatory, additional languages are considered as an advantage.
  • Passion for sales and networking with internal and external customers.
  • Have a high ability to create and develop customer relationships is an essential part of your role, which requires a very high level of social competence to succeed.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills as well as a natural positive attitude with an innovative and creative mindset.
  • A drive to learn new skills as well as open to receiving and providing feedback.

Additional Important information

  • Start date is planned to be February/March 2025.
  • You will have a fixed term employment during your trainee-period.
  • Last day to send in your application is 17/11.
  • Permanent work permit to work in Sweden or EU citizenship is required. Student Visa or temporary work permit is not enough to apply for this position. Applications will not be considered if the required documents are not attached (CV, motivation letter, diploma/university grade transcript).
