Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Business Systems Manager. In this role, you will review and analyze key business metrics to devise plans for improvement and communicate findings and plans to key stakeholders. Maintain documentation regarding business projects, processes, and operations. Produce maps and models of internal business procedures and policies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other knowledge assets
- Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs
- Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools
- Research or develop analytical tools to address issues such as portfolio construction or optimization, performance measurement, attribution, profit and loss measurement, or pricing model
- Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope
- Review and update standard operating procedures
- Retrieve and organize data from various sources, including ERP systems (such as IFS or SAP), production databases, and other relevant platforms.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization
- Build complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up
- Write specifications for updates and new systems
- Monitor security breaches, install software to keep information secure and test systems' security
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to business intelligence and manufacturing analytics.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration and 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; or associate's degree in finance, accounting, business administration and 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; or High School Diploma and 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Preferred technologies: SQL/ VBA/Dot.net/Visual.net, Azure DevOps, GIT, WPF, WinForms, SAP, SSRS Reporting, PowerBI
