- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the safe use of all equipment and resources.
- Manage and train employees, ensuring they understand and achieve Section KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Track and enter hourly employees' time into the timekeeping system.
- Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress.
- Provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
- Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, and recommending actions.
- Use excellent people skills to coach and communicate effectively, accomplishing daily deliverables.
- Provide clear direction to the work group, setting priorities proactively and managing conflicts effectively.
Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience; OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of manufacturing experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Work authorization that permits employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Broad experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing implementation and Six Sigma training.
- Ability to work all shifts and periodic weekend work.
- Strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation from others.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
