Mission Statement

Manufacturing Quality Control work includes: Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Testing random samples of finished goods. Reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems An Entry Para-Professional (S15) requires very basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through limited work experience and may require vocational education. Responsibilities may include: Work is routine or follows standard procedures, only very occasionally require interpretations or deviation from standard procedures. Works under close to moderate supervision. Communicates information that requires some basic explanation or interpretation.

Your responsibilities:

  • Raw material inspection at vendor end for CTC/PICC, Insulation kit, CRGO, Oil.
  • Q info in SAP for each component to be ordered, job specific (refer vendor list) & ROL.
  • Bought out components' inspection at vendor end for Tank, Yoke clamp, Bushing, OLTC, Radiators, ODWF Coolers, shield tubes, Marshalling box, RTCC.
  • Physical incoming inspection at factory for items like PRV(visual & air pressure test), Buchholz relay, RPRD, valves, cooling fan, Bushings, BCT, yoke shunts, OLTC, shield tubes, Cleats & insulation items received from vendors other than IKC, CT terminal box, hardware, busbars, flexible jumpers, FOS, cotton rolls, flitch plates, yoke bands, core fiber insulations, A second, crimping sleeves, fibre bolts & nut, R&D plate, VSP plate, CT diagram, Aircell instruction, etc
  • Material test certificate verification as per MQP, ordering specification, drawing. Q-clearance in SAP.
  • Raise NCR for non-conformance material.
  • Rejection notes in case of Rejection of any items or send back for rectification/repair.
  • Communication with Buyer in case of Q-issues.
  • Communication with Design in case of mismatch in ordering spec. & customer requirements.
  • Prepare bought out item TC's as per customer approved MQP.
  • Support customer inspection in FAT for Q document

Your Background

  • Diploma in Electrical.
  • Around 2 to 8 years of experience of Transformer manufacturing industry reference.
  • Testing active part in manufacturing while taking care of HSE.
  • May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision.
  • Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
