Your responsibilities:
- You will be contributing segmentation and segment trend analysis. You will Competitor analysis, including identification of product gaps.
- You will do portfolio analysis, tracks performance metrics and Profitability management. You will do roadmap planning, enhancements, extensions, cost reductions and phase-out.
- You will contribute to customer need and value analysis, Value creation, Product launch planning and execution. You will initiate creation of external and internal product training modules and programs. LPG product performance follow-up (lead).
- You will clear product positioning within portfolio with defined values per RFFF product line. You will define customer values per segment and ensures communication to channels and users.
- You will develop Hitachi energy internal product positioning strategy and the offering of competition. You will develop, deploy and maintain price lists reflecting the needs of individual markets.
- You will initiate development of sales and tendering tools.
- You will define suitable portfolio and trade fairs and events and sales support customer homologation and approvals, and advanced tendering support (contributor).
- You will actively participate in cross-functional product innovation teams, Support the patent screening process and IP-rights protection and monitor development of IEC/GB and other standards, and recommends participation in industry associations.

Your background:
- You hold Engineering degree.
- Required 5 years in switchgear field or 2 years in GIS field.
- A strong knowledge of the business and product
- R&D and market experience in the T&D business
- Strong product management experience
- Excellence in building cross cultural and cross functional teams and networks
- Fluency in English, and preferably also in additional global languages.
- External focus / Customer orientation.
- Personal leadership skills: self-motivation, teamwork & networking, communication.
- Cross cultural understanding.
- Strong decision marking capabilities based on input from many stakeholders.
- Very good understanding of a product group/local product group set-up.
- Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably in a highly matrixed organization.
- International experience preferred.
