Mission Statement:
Responsible for the driving, implementing, reporting and monitoring of the progress of the service sales strategy, developing trends for identifying and winning new business, developing contract strategy and project proposals based on policies, customer requirements, budgets and timescales ensuring they meet agreed technical standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identifying, discussing, reviewing and negotiating the contract baseline and other documents to ensure compliance with respect to maximizing the financial and operational performance
- Documenting any changes/amendments that happen during contract execution
- Assesses and monitors the success/deviations of contracts to identify and required changes.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects, cooperating with technical and financial staff, legal teams and the client's own representatives
- Provides support and advice of new potential business opportunities demonstrating a strong legal knowledge base/ terminology
- To deliver the full HVDC service sales cycle from opportunity generation to need identification, presentation/offer response, negotiation and closing. Develop new forms of collaboration with our customers, and promote our advanced digital solutions.
- Evaluation of customer documentation and interpretation of their needs, as well as assessment of commercial terms and conditions. Establish long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM). Registers customer feedback and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Formulate competitive offers/estimates/price offers, considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each situation. Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with Hitachi energy FES team. Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
- Collaborate with the tender team to manage the preparation of all technical, financial, cash flow and operational delivery aspects of the tender/estimate/price offer, indicating prices and terms of trade.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in contractual agreements across customers/channels.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Realization of division budget objectives established for orders, revenues and profit margins.
- Identify customer needs, in collaboration with internal and external suppliers, with close collaboration with sales, supply chain management, project management, planning, engineering and commercial functions.
- Interpret customer's RFQ and project specifications and prepare technical and commercial proposals for timely submission to customers.
- Perform site survey, gather information at site, and identify customer's needs for certain projects.
- Participate in customer meetings for such as solution presentation, technical clarification, etc.
- Identify product development needs and report on competitive activities. Work with customers to influence specifications at specifiers, and EPC's Be resourceful and create better ways to approach the changing market.
- Coordination with Localization team to develop the solutions locally. Provide necessary technical documents and prepare business strategies.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering and related field plus 6 to 10 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy
- Previous experience selling services and a track record of winning new business.
- Minimum of 6 years sales/marketing experience desired (8-10 years preferred).
- Division experience also beneficial good planning and organizational skills Willingness to travel, as needed 50% and more good communication and writing skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Team building skills.
- At least 5+ years of experience with HVDC/FACTS/HV power systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Ability to prioritize and work against deadlines.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
