Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring an Operations Solution Owner for Global HVDC Control & Protection. This is a hybrid working role, based in our Ludvika, Sweden offices, combined with working from your home-office.
You will be part of the Global Engineering organization for our High Voltage Direct Current product group. Your responsibilities
- Ownership of the complete HVDC Control & Protection Delivery process, ensuring that a monthly steering of process leaders is organized and driven for effective process changes and continuous improvements in our processes.
- With ownership of the overall process, also comes schedule planning responsibility. You are to ensure a realistic base schedule exists for our deliverables and is followed through in our project execution. This would also be a cross functional ownership with stakeholders involved from the overall HVDC Operations team.
- Spread the word - for the overall HVDC process amongst the individuals within Control & Protection, so that they get insight on overall process and their roles in the complete delivery.
- Take part in the overall HVDC steering of documentation controlling, ownership and improvement work.
- Mentor new incoming project managers for setting up their project management plan and ensure operational risks are identified and hence propose solutions to ensure sound execution of projects.
- You can also be asked to advise on implemented solutions for HVDC Control & Protection meets technical, operational and performance standards.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields or relevant certification.
- Proven experience in program or project management, particularly in HVDC Control & Protection deliveries with a TSO or other organizations such as Hitachi Energy.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirements and constraints.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of EPC systems and emerging technologies.
