Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking an Operations Solution Owner for Global HVDC Control & Protection. This hybrid role is based in our Ludvika, Sweden offices, with the flexibility to work from your home office.
As part of the Global Engineering organization for our High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) product group, you will contribute to a technology that has been on the market for over 60 years. Your responsibilities
- Oversee the entire HVDC Control & Protection Delivery process, ensuring that monthly steering meetings with process leaders are organized and driven to implement effective process changes and continuous improvements.
- Manage schedule planning: Ensure a realistic base schedule for deliverables is established and adhered to during project execution. This involves cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders from the HVDC Operations team.
- Communicate the HVDC process: Educate individuals within Control & Protection about the overall process and their roles in the complete delivery.
- Participate in HVDC documentation control: Take part in the steering, ownership, and improvement of documentation.
- Mentor new project managers: Assist them in setting up their project management plans, identifying operational risks, and proposing solutions to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide technical advice: Offer guidance on implemented solutions to ensure they meet technical, operational, and performance standards.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or relevant certification.
- Proven experience in program or project management, especially in HVDC Control & Protection deliveries with a TSO or organizations like Hitachi Energy.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirements and constraints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in EPC systems and emerging technologies.
