We are looking for a HR Generalist for fixed-term employment until 31st of December 2025 at Hitachi Energy Power Transformers in Vaasa. In this role, you will have a range of exciting responsibilities in a production environment, and you will be part of a dedicated business producing world class products. The key purpose of the role is to provide local support to our managers and employees in diverse HR topics. You will also work closely with our local HR team to provide the best possible support for the business.

How you'll make an impact

• Work closely with line managers and employees in factory environment, but also with HR Operations and our outsourced payroll provider.
• Conduct recruitments for production positions and support onboarding process.
• Support the business as time administrator; payroll data collection, act as eTime system key user and check payroll data results.
• Prepare reports and summaries of data available in the systems.
• Administer blue collar compensation, benefits, and employee performance management.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in HR, economics or related fields.
• Experience within Human Resources or payroll.
• Knowledge of blue-collar employment matters, labor legislation and collective agreements.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems.
• Analytical and logical thinking, problem solving skills and learning agility.
• Written and verbal communication skills both in Finnish and in English.
• Hands-on attitude, proactive way of working and an eye for details is need in this position.
