Job Description
Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Country Human Resources Business Partner (CHRBP) to support the local entity in Colombia, the LATAM M&S function, corporate functions and support global HR projects.
The CHRBP will partner with the Country Managing Director, LATAM Local Sales Managers, and different corporate function leaders to: support and drive transformation and growth. The CHRBP is responsible for the overall HR contribution and added value to M&S and corporate functions, translating business objectives into HR priorities and ensuring effective implementation in partnership with our Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR operations, implementing HR focus areas in talent development, ensuring the relevant capabilities of people and organizational effectiveness. He/She acts as the country's industrial relations officer, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities
Organizational Design & Developments supports the implementation of the operating model of business units at country level and optimizes organization structures and principles in line with local legislation, global rules and standards.
HR Solutions: partners with managers and employees in the respective functions to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel managers and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues. Acts as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator to leaders.
Implementation of HR processes with businesses ensures the implementation and proper execution of HR processes by both managers and teams, assuring compliance with the Group's policies and guidelines. HR Processes (Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Succession Plans and Talent Management) Provides strategic support in the growth of the company. Permanently seeks the improvement of processes by evaluating opportunities for the simplification and harmonization of HR processes within the country.
Skills development and learning supports development actions in accordance with group guidelines and local needs to drive excellence, in partnership with HR centers of expertise (COEs) and operations. Implements learning and development activities to enhance technical, functional, and leadership competency in collaboration with the talent and learning team.
Leadership culture and talent management: together with the organization's leaders, identifies and develops the strength of the talent pool. Uses our leadership pillars and Diversity360 to help drive the culture and behavior that connects our people to potential.
Legal & Compliance Representation: Ensures compliance with local labor laws and company policies, fulfilling fiduciary duties on behalf of the local legal entity.
External representation of the organization in employers' associations, universities, employer branding events; actively manage external partnerships and stakeholders.
Effective internal communications that facilitate HR-related topics to all stakeholder groups, driving alignment and collaboration within the HR team.
Required qualifications:
• Professional in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar. Master's degree or specialization is an advantage.
• 10 years of HRBP or HR generalist experience, including experience in a global and multinational matrix environment.
• Knowledge in Labor Law requirements, Payroll, Social Security matters.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
