Global Manager - Digital Twin Solutions

The opportunity

As the HVDC organization continues to grow rapidly, the Digital Twin Solutions team is expanding to meet the increasing demand for projects and tenders. This engineering function in spread between Sweden and India, and plays a critical role in ensuring the success of IdentiQ™ by leveraging robust software functionality, deep market insights, and strategic planning. As the Global Manager of the team, you will be instrumental in integrating IdentiQ™ into our core business, from project identification through to completion. Collaboration with senior leadership will be a key priority for you to define and execute the global engineering Digital Twin strategy.

You will also provide strong leadership and strategic direction, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. You will set clear objectives, drive process improvements, and ensure the team remains at the forefront of digital twin technology. You will have the opportunity to coach your team in their professional development by identifying skill gaps and implementing targeted training programs to support their growth.

• Support the team and stakeholders in technical matters.
• Manage all employee related activities such as recruitment, onboarding, creating opportunities for training & development, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Build and coach the team to a positive work environment, while also ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant workplace.
• Address escalated issues, troubleshoot challenges, and resolve conflicts within the team or with stakeholders.
• Plan and evaluate actions to achieve goals and enforcing system, policy, procedure, and productivity standards.
• Define objectives, establish strategic goals, and assess the outcome of actions taken.
• Manage project budgets, time/cost estimations, resource allocation, and update the tender and project portfolio.
• Oversee day-to-day project operation, track progress, identify mistakes and improvement areas in our processes.
• Liaise with stakeholders and promote cross-functional collaboration and transparency.

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
• Experience working with digital twin technology or product development, for example as product owner, product manager or similar.
• Experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility, ideally in a dynamic and global organization.
• Structured, well-organized, and confident to take on the role as the leader of the team.
• Strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is required, Swedish is a plus.
