Are you ready to lead a dynamic team at the forefront of energy innovation? We are seeking a passionate and experienced Global Head of HVDC Products Manufacturing. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of our global manufacturing operations, leading best practices in production, Quality & Operational Excellence, Planning and Logistics and manage capacity investments globally. This role includes responsibility for manufacturing facilities in Ludvika, Smedjebacken, India and China, overseeing approximately 350 employees, with several direct-reporting factory managers. Ludvika is the base for this role however global travel to other factories will be required
We are looking for a senior leader ready to take on the challenge to grow HVDCs manufacturing capabilities to the next level to enable a sustainable energy future. This will require leading best in class practices in terms of modern manufacturing principles, automation, digital factory, ERP and lean operating principles. A proactive leadership in terms of Quality will be a fundamental to drive quality throughout the value chain. Due to the fast-paced growth of the industry, proven change management skills will be a success factor in the role to build organizational capabilities. Your people and leadership skills will be the key to unlock the potential of this diverse global team and it stakeholders.

How you'll make an impact
- Champion Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives through strategic target setting, monitoring, and benchmarking, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Execute the global business unit/product group manufacturing strategy locally, aligning with our vision for innovation and excellence.
- Develop and implement proactive strategies to boost business profitability, capacity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Achieve established targets by overseeing and defining necessary improvement actions, ensuring we meet and exceed our goals.
- Inspire and manage manufacturing functions, operation teams, and processes, driving them towards success.
- Deliver on operational/project targets (e.g., OTD, FPY, lead time, quality) to enhance our net promoter score (NPS) and customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution, sharing best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
- Organize, staff, and direct the area of responsibility effectively, ensuring optimal performance and team cohesion.
Your background
- A University Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within a manufacturing unit, with knowledge and experience from a global organization.
- Expertise in managing production plans, with Lean certifications and a continuous improvement mindset.
- A strong work ethic paired with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to lead and inspire your team.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with extensive experience managing complex operations of similar size.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment, contributing to our global success. We are looking for leadership with strategic and tactical acumen.
