Mission Statement:

Service Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project including: Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets. Providing technical and analytical guidance to the team of field service engineers. Ensuring timely response to market including internal and external customers; technical solution and guidance to the field service team while deputed at site; adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables. Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization. Wherever applicable, manages the integration of subcontractors and testing agencies' deliverables.

Your Responsibilities:

  • To work as Field Service Project Manager for the Transformer Service unit of Hitachi Energy, India leading the team of field service engineers.
  • To support sales and marketing / tendering team to define the scope for various service projects being quoted.
  • To plan the resource allocation, scheduling and executing field service projects successfully in all aspects including order handling and overlooking for overall completion to achieve business objectives.
  • To work for business in achieving targeted Revenue, customer inspection and Collection as per budget
  • Customer Relationship Management, attend and co-ordinate customer complaints with his/her technical and interpersonal skills and leveraging tools like CCRP, NPS and others.
  • To co-ordinate with regional marketing (regional offices, branch offices) through proper delegation, leadership and working with the team members in alignment to the objectives.
  • To maintain the ISO documentation for the projects handled.
  • Systemizing, Organizing and giving professional shape to project management dept- reporting system, feedback, analysis, meetings, reviews etc.
  • Support and Build Competency of team.
  • Team Management- achieving objectives by showing the way and leading from front.

Your Background:

  • BE Mechanical / Electrical.
  • Around 10 yrs experience in Power Transformer Services. Experience of leading a team is preferred.
  • Experience and technical knowledge in handling transformer field issues and providing solution through analytical skills is must.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
