We are looking for a Trade Finance specialist to join Hitachi Energy Indonesia to support the Trade Finance organization. Provide expert trade finance advisory services, including bank guarantees, and documentary letters of credit, during export sales contract negotiations and post-sales instrument finalization and execution. Bring your passion and energy to balance the needs of the finance and business departments, as well as to manage and consult on the risks of ever-changing projects
Your responsibilities:
1. Maintain smooth daily operations for all Trade Finance instruments related activities (including Guarantee, Passive Guarantee, Import Letter of credit, Export Letter of credit)
1.1 Release Bank guarantee/LC requests as part of the 4-eye principle

1.2 Maintain bank guarantee portfolio (new issuance, amendment, extend or pay, claims, closing, free formats)
1.3 Handle the incoming bolero messages
1.4 Follow manual procedure in case of non-Bolero contracts
1.5 Assign advised export LCs to the relevant recipients and review documents to be presented to the Bank.
1.6 Process and follow up for collection under Bank guarantees/LCs in our favor
1.7 Adhering to local regulations and relevant customary practices
1.8 Reconcile Banks' invoice, effect payment & allocate bank charges
1.9 Support/oversight on the data quality management in TFL
1.10 Advise PO/SO/Cost Center to GBS payment for booking Bank Charge regarding to BG/LC.
1.11 Coordinate with global ETF and Bank for acceding Trade Financing Program
1.12 Manage Trade finance facility limit for BG/LC and work with Group & Bank to increase when needed
1.13 Process LC discounting request and negotiate for best interest rate with Banks
2. Complete regularly controls
2.1. Monthly/Quarterly Reconciliation for Guarantees, and LCs
2.2. Perform required Internal Controls for GRCM
2.3. Sign off as relevant
3. Provide support under Treasury function
Support Treasury cluster team on FX hedging, Loan and Cash Management activities regarding to physical
documentation, local language reports and AR collection consolidation.
4. Set up Escrow Account
4.1 Maintain communication and bank relationship
4.2 Review Escrow Agreement, collaborating with Contract Manager and Legal
4.3 Update for new opportunities with banks and review costing
5. Compliance Reporting to Central Bank (SIMODIS)
Your background:
- You hold university degree in finance, banking, treasury management, or a related field.
- You have prior working experience in trade finance administration, advisory, and consultancy on guarantees and letters of credit.
- Certification in trade finance instruments (e.g CSDG, CDCS) would be considered advantageous.
- Proficient in UCP600, ISBP 821, URDG, and ISP.
- A proactive business attitude, knowledge, and understanding of local and regional rules and regulations, as well as the regional market environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as proficiency in daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
