So, where does your journey start with us? Our aim is to give you a valuable insight into a range of different business areas, whilst strengthening your professional skills through tailored modules and projects across all our business units.

We operate 3 distinct business units and as a member of our Graduate Programme, you will work in all three of these units learning the different business skills. These units are:
- Customer Experience.
- Consulting Services.
- Energy Trading.
Our Graduate Programme will benefit in the following ways:
- Receive a tailored plan with clear goals, feedback and formal mentoring from a Managing Practice lead.
- Undertake three 8 month rotations in different disciplines across the business
- Attend all Group Development modules and Functional Meetings across the entire Hitachi Energy Business.
- Contribute to continuous business growth by taking on projects as agreed with your mentor
- Contribute towards Corporate Responsibility goals by driving volunteer projects in the local area, including conferences and our chosen partner Founders4Schools
- Give continuous and constructive feedback on the Graduate Programme and act as a buddy to new graduates when appropriate
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- A true and exciting interest in the world of energy and sustainability.
- Minimum 2:2 degree, or equivalent; ideally in a related subject. If you don't have a related degree you'll need to demonstrate a passion for the industry and outline your transferrable skills
- Be resilient and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Take ownership of projects
- Strong communication skills and able to build effective working relationships
- Energy and enthusiasm to deliver goals and successes
- I drive to learn both in a mentor setting and through our self learning portals.
Skills:
- Has good verbal and written communication skills.
- Has analysis and problem-solving skills to quickly analyse complex situations.
- Has ability to effectively structure work to handle multiple demands and competing activities; to take control of issues and manage them through resolution.
