We are looking for an Engineering Platform IT System Analyst to join an international development team that takes care of Engineering Design Platform development. We are looking for experienced candidate who will support us with breaking down business processes and then assist in finding ways to optimize them with the focus on design platform for transformer designers. The candidate should pose strong willingness to build strong relationship between business and engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Break down business processes and assist in optimizing them, with a focus on design platforms for transformer designers,
- Review and document design platform engineering processes and identify improvements,
- Identify locally developed solutions and agree on their maintenance/replacement,
- Promote valuable local solutions to become global,
- Perform workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements,
- Helps with implementation process and tools improvements,
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, developers and product owners to understand functionality and suggests required QA activities,
- Support the integration of the design platform with other BU tools and systems (e.g., PLM, GMR).
- Act as a bridge between the MOP team, StarX Team, and factories, offering suggestions and solutions to improve the current design platform.

Background:
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical background,
- Solid knowledge at least of one programming language(.Net, C++, Python, etc.),
- 3+ years of experience as a software system analyst/,
- Demonstrated knowledge of PDM, PLM is an asset,
- Knowledge of Transformer design is plus,
- Knowledge of 3D CAD system is plus,
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills,
- Proficiency in English,
- Experience from working in different software development processes and familiar with necessary considerations when it comes to creating software with quality,
