We have an exciting opportunity to become part of Hitachi Energy's High Voltage team in the UK & Ireland as a Document Controller, you'll be working closely with the Project Engineering team, several different customers and suppliers/ subcontractors. You will be responsible for managing the documentation for projects delivered within HV Service, helping to ensure that designs are delivered on time, in line with HV Service processes and to a high standard.

Requirements:
- Manage project documentation in line with HV Service procedures & Client requirements.
- Work closely with the Project Engineering team, control the creation, review and distribution of drawings/ documents.
- Create & maintain documentation trackers for live projects in line with document names, revisions and status.
- Raise document transmittal notes and collate document/ drawing submission packs, ensuring documentation is issued in a controller manner.
- Produce & support site with installation drawing packages, including the printing of drawings in the required size, format and stamped for the correct function.
- Assist Project Manager and Project Engineer to track the status and timescales for documents issued to client for review & to suppliers for updates.
- Take responsibility for the creation and update of business processes.
- Assist with collating drawings and documentation for project close out, returning documentation to the customer.
- Issue drawing numbers & keep a log on a master register.
Your background:
- Good understanding and relevant experience within this industry.
- Experience working with Microsoft office software packages (word and excel).
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multi take and organise your own time and responsibilities.
- Team player, who holds themselves accountable, being ready willing to collaborate with others.
- Flexible approach with the ability to set tasks aside to prioritise specific work where required.
