For our team in Hitachi Energy Portugal we are looking for a Deal Support & Back Office Specialist (Fixed Contract, 1 year contract) to join our team.
In this role, you will support and enhance operational efficiency through a combination of deal support and administrative expertise. You will collaborate with the sales team, while also with all company to support company policies and legal requirements in administrative practices. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication in Portuguese and English, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

As Deal Support Specialist you task will include:
- Support the sales team by preparing and submitting proposals on public entity platforms and other portals.
- Oversee qualification processes to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Manage processes for project onboarding and maintain related documentation, ensuring updates on customer platforms.
- Oversee general inquiries received by Hitachi Energy Portugal, triaging and routing communications as needed.
- Send original bank guarantees to clients and manage the return of canceled guarantees to the bank.
- Provide administrative support for various projects, which may include conducting research, compiling data, or managing project documentation.
In addition, as a Back Office Specialist , you will be responsible to:
- Oversee the administration and tracking of AMEX cards for the team.
- Provide support for the CMD team, including occasional scheduling of meetings.
- Assist with internal communications within the organization.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support department objectives.
- Ensure that administrative practices adhere to company policies and legal requirements, including maintaining confidential employee and business records.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the team and department.
Your background
- Proven experience in deal support, configuration management, or a similar role
- Experience as a back office administrative is highly recommended
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Administration, or a related field (not mandatory)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, flexibility
- Ability to work independently with general supervision, resolving moderately difficult but non-complex issues
- Effective communication skills in both Portuguese and English
- Proactivity, sense of urgency, detailed oriented
- Willingness to travel between Perafita and Paço de Arcos when need it
