General Information:

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Custodial Support Technician. This position will keep the building in a clean and orderly condition.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain care of furniture, fixtures or equipment
• Use correct PPE such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves etc.
• Maintain clean, neat and orderly common areas such as kitchens, breakrooms and restrooms
• Operating cleaning equipment (e.g. steam cleaners, floor polishers, etc.)
• Monitor building security and safety
• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Some experience in manufacturing preferred.
