Corporate Real Estate - Security Specialist (Access Control/ CCTV)

General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Corporate Real Estate - Security Specialist (Access Control/ CCTV) for it's Atlanta, GA location.

Mission Statement:

The Corporate Real Estate - Security Specialist (Access Control/ CCTV) role reports to the America's Real Estate Lead and works with business units and corporate functions to enable business operations by providing and supporting end-to-end Physical Security Information Systems (PSIM) which includes Video Management System (VMS), Access Control System (ACS) to include visitor management. The position requires a passion for collaboration, building relationships with stakeholders and staff; ability to challenge the status quo, and protect Hitachi Energy's staff, visitors and assets. The focus of the role is to plan, execute, maintain and provide metrics on all aspects of the PSIM system at Hitachi Energy facilities. This includes the hardware, software, programming, providing site access cards for staff and visitors, maintenance of the system and reporting.

• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in the areas of security technology, to include physical electronic systems (access badge & video surveillance), programming, system design, integration, controls assessment and compliance.
• Serves as SME for employees, contractors, and other providers as it pertains to electronic security (badging) and video surveillance.
• Engage with stakeholders on support requests relating to role.
  
  Plan and execute security system (badging) program for each facility.
• This includes the implementation of the hardware and software to support the access control along with the day-to-day access control and reporting for the applicable facilities.
• Provide detail analysis of data/ analytics for PSIM across the Hitachi Energy facilities in the region.
• Document and maintain PSIM setup to include application(s), workflows, and related data.
• Also, provide end user, stakeholder documentation (How To's) on using the solution.
  
  Conduct configuration, regular testing of security devices and software applications.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  
  Implement approved global/ regional strategies to mitigate threats to avoid disruptive effects from events/ incidents.
  
  Responsible for all aspects of PSIM system delivery for upgrades and new systems in Hitachi Energy facilities in the region.
• Maintain expertise in all PSIM system components; staying up to date on technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Relating to corporate security and all aspects of PSIM systems.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience with Physical Security Information Systems to include video management, access control and visitor management systems.
• Working knowledge of project management and best practices. Knowledge of techniques and tools for process improvement such as Six Sigma (up to Yellow belt certification a plus)
