We are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist within HVDC Control & Protection. This role involves many interfaces and interesting work tasks, offering great opportunities for learning and development. Our team culture is flexible, transparent, and cooperative. Reporting to the Global HVDC Control and Protection Project Manager, you will manage inventory levels and ensure a suitable inventory turnover rate. In this role, you will support the TKOM team by coaching and leading quality and performance-related improvement projects.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coaching and following up on continuous improvement principles and practices, role modeling these attributes, and contributing to the cultural transformation across the organization through the execution of projects.
  • Acting as a CI Subject Matter Professional, providing help and guidance on methods and tools, including Quality Tools and templates, to drive improvement projects in the areas of defect reduction, productivity, and Operational Excellence.
  • Supporting and booking the team on relevant training for development.
  • Proactively challenging existing ways of working, proposing improvements to processes and work practices.
  • Communicating at all levels in the business and with various professionals.
  • Driving the sharing of best practices, new processes, tools, and improvements achieved through the application of CI methodologies.

Your background:

  • Several years of experience in the industry.
  • Educational background in continuous improvement and quality management systems.
  • Experience with SAP modules (WM) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficiency and fluency in English are required; Swedish skills would be advantageous.
  • Experience in managing internal communications and teamwork to deliver results.
  • Detail-oriented with a good business sense.
  • Ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions.
