Category Supply Chain Specialist - Contracted Services

We are looking for a Contracted Services Specialist to join the Grid Integration unit at Hitachi Energy in Norway. In this role, you will be an active part in the projects procuring civil works and installation services. You will coordinate, negotiate, and administrate procurement proposals, bids, and contracts with contractors. You will be a multitasking person in a multicultural environment.

You will join a dedicated team of professionals within Supply Chain Management so you will have colleagues from all around the world supporting you in this role.

Your responsibilities

• Implementing effectively sourcing strategies for Contracted Services Category in line with business strategy ensuring that the supply base of contractors have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Planning and executing procurement activities for projects to support project objectives in terms of cost/budget, schedule and supply quality.
• Maintaining a primary interface with the Sales/Tender recourses, Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineering on all Contracted Services related matters.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering discipline or business administration
• Previous experience in procurement and negotiation of medium to large contracts
• Knowledge of Energy Sector
• High communication and networking skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical interest and ability to solve complex problems independently
• Knowledge and understanding of risk identification and mitigation.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language) written and verbal, is a requirement.
