Mission Statement

  • Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including: Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.). Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing. Supplier Selection.
  • Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing. Supplier Selection. Pricing/Terms Negotiation. Order Processing.
  • Order Processing. Contract Administration. Supplier Performance Management. May include Strategic Sourcing An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Coordinating with other departments such as sales, procurement, and finance to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials.
  • Assessing and managing risks to supply chain operations due to potential disruptions or variances
  • Monitoring and adjusting supply chain activities to meet changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all aspects of supply chain operations
  • Implement & maintain processes to evaluate supplier performance data like delivery, quality etc.. to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Ensure optimal capacity procurement and allocation, coordinating the forecast of supply and demand.
  • Identify areas of risk within supply chain Category; implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders and other agreements and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy.
  • Analyze supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements; leverages value for the company.
  • Resolve non-conformance issues in a timely manner to minimize the Company's exposure
  • Work with Procurement buyer, Category managers and users to ensure internal customer needs are met
  • Responsible for planning, organizing and chairing regular Performance Reviews with Suppliers
  • Coordinate with quality team and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve short comings.

Your Background

  • Qualification B.E mechanical/Electrical.
  • 8-10 Years of experience in SCM (vendor development).
  • Ensure optimal capacity procurement and allocation, coordinating the forecast of supply and demand.
  • Analyze supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements; leverages value for he company .
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
