C# .Net Core Backend Developer

However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for an experienced backend developer to create a RESTful API to support the development and implementation of a new Mechanical Design Platform for distribution transformers at Jefferson City factory. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, development and testing of an API using .Net Core 8.0+ to encapsulate the business logic of the transformer design system based on given documentation and existing applications functionalities, coordinating the requirements with front-end development team.

• Designing, developing and implementing controllers, services, repositories etc. to handle different aspects of the solution based on written or verbal requirements given by domain expert or architect.
• Contributing to all stages of software development lifecycle. Analyzing user requirements to define business objectives.
• Developing and testing software. Writing well designed, testable code.
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.
• Creating detailed design documentation. Proposing changes to current .Net infrastructure.
• Participating in meetings to discuss requirements and implementation details.
• Working independently on Task assigned using Azure DevOps platform and follow-up regularly.
• Supporting continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.

• Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related IT
• discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with proven hands-on software development experience with agile
• methodology.
• Experience in .Net development using C#, MVC framework and .Net Core. Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using .Net framework.
• Experience in RESTful Api Design. Proven working experience in MS Azure or other cloud provider.
• Experience with test-driven development. Familiar with SOLID principles.
• Experience in Kubernetes would be an added advantage.
• Experience in migrating existing applications from .Net framework to.Net Core is a plus.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL Server and ORM technologies. Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Proficiency in English language.
