We are seeking a motivated Business Financial Controller to join one of our business units in Ballerup, Denmark. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a dynamic, international, and positive work environment.
As the Business Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing monthly financial deliverables, including closings, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and business managers to support operational decision-making and provide financial expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering to execution, close-out, and warranty phases. A key part of your role will involve monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements in cost structure and productivity. Additionally, you will conduct quality checks on financial data, analysing major fluctuations and foreign exchange impacts, while ensuring compliance with company policies, IFRS standards, and internal controls. You will also support both internal and external audits and ensure transparency in financial reporting, along with providing ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Your background should include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with solid experience in financial planning, analysis, accounting, and project control. Strong accounting and analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, are essential for this role. Proficiency in English and Danish, both written and spoken, is required as you will work in an international setting. Additionally, you should be well-versed in MS Office and have a strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP/S4.
