Associate Project Manager

The opportunity:

To lead the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will develop comprehensive project plans in collaboration with the Project Controls department, encompassing scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• You will manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and best practices, this includes monitoring and controlling progress, resources, and financials.
• You will monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify and manage risks, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• You will ensure that all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies. Manage the procurement of necessary services, materials and equipment from both internal and external suppliers, supporting Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims management and changing orders.
• You will serve as the key point of contact for the customer and lead the resolution of project issues, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• You will ensure the project follows and complies with Hitachi Energy's health, safety, and environmental policies. You will ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy's project management processes and effectively utilize the designated tools and technologies to manage projects efficiently, identify areas for improvement and implement best practices/ lessons learned aligned with Hitachi Energy's methodologies.

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• First experience in project management or coordination.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
