What's the role?
In this role you will:
- Ensure our services are running stable, high-performance, and secure on a globally distributed computing platform
- Work with and support R&D teams to onboard & run their services on our infrastructure platform
- Enable and support continuous deployment of applications to our platform
- Develop a release approach using automated, containerized deployment techniques
- Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce operational overhead
- Support internal & external customers and participate in the on-call rotation as a tier 3 support team.

Who are you?
You are a go-getter, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving, and have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field
- Five to Eight years of overall industry expereince including 4+ years’ prevous experience in DevOps and maintaining high transaction production environment.
- Deep working knowledge of Python/Shell scripting.
- Deep working knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes.
- Good working knowledge of Linux infrastructure
- Experience with GitLab or GoCD
- Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations

In this position, you will be part of the Location Service team, which is dedicated to ensuring the reliability and stability of HERE services. Our team is focused on providing Tier 3 support to Location Services, doing Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), detecting and resolving systemic issues to improve the reliability of services offered to HERE customers. We collaborate closely with the HERE engineering community to maintain high service levels and minimize future disruptions. The team is a group of DevOps Engineers with hands-on experience in managing large-scale systems. We are committed to maintaining a 99.9% Service Level Agreement (SLA) and ensuring that our services meet customer expectations.
