What's the role?

As UX designer for the UI components and application development you will support our teams to create first class open-source offerings. You specify the UX design for complex UI components and their integration into various applications. These applications are primarily open source as well as for internal purposes. Furthermore, we will also need some to steer the direction of our visual navigation experience. The HERE SDK l and external applications. You should be experienced with the mobile platforms on phones and tablets. You will help to foster a clean design based on our company branding guidelines and focus on high quality products.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.

Who are you?

Bachelor’s / Masters degree in UX Design / Interaction Design / Visual Design or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in UX design including at least 3 years in mobile application development
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design work
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and UI design principles
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• An understanding of the differences of the mobile platforms to provide designs for various resolutions and screen orientations, e.g. for phones and tablets
• A profound understanding of UI principles
• Experience in working in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and no problems to work with distributed teams
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
• Design and prototype user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across products
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with the intended user experience
• Experience in designing UI components or being familiar with location services would be a plus
