What's the role?

As a Lead PS Consultant , you will be responsible for planning and execution of activities within Solution Engineering as well as across different HERE Business Groups to successfully meet our customer commitments. Major project elements include establishing project schedules and deliverables, tracking of project performance using key performance indicators, achieving targeted milestones throughout the project lifecycle and managing stakeholders. In addition, you will take corrective actions and drive escalations when required to achieve project level goals.

Focus of the role will be to ensure that long-term commitments for delivered solutions will be fulfilled. For this role, it is key to understand the technical architecture of the customized products, the accompanying development environments & continuous integration systems, as well as the organizational dependencies of these complex solutions. Tasks will be:

• Define and optimize the organizational setup for the delivery and operations of complex solutions
• Execution and refinement of established maintenance processes
• Consulting product and delivery teams on maintainability of the solutions
• Coordination of changes to the deployed products and solutions spanning from impact assessment, technical implementation to test & validation against production-grade QA requirements
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between software teams involved in delivering and maintaining the solution
• Resolution of conflicts across organizational dependencies of the solution

Who are you?

You are somone with proven experience in creating and refining the organizational setup of projects, technical knowledge, leadership, networking, and commercial awareness, as well as the ability to influence positive. Further you carry the following qualifications, skills and abilities.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems/MBA preferred
• 8 to 12 years of overall experiecne including experience in engineering or project management, with successful management and solution delivery of cross-functional projects
• Experience with supporting, maintaining and operating production-grade solutions throughout entire product lifecycle
• You have direct experience working in and with Agile development teams as well as waterfall or hybrid approaches
• Proven track record in delivering projects to market
• Experience leading projects across multiple disciplines, including engineering, production, subcontractors, marketing, sales, & distribution, and at varying positions in the value chain
• Ability to provide project management to distributed cross functional teams, manage issues cross-functionally and remotely
• Proven ability to interface with all levels and customers; to manage up, down, and across
• Strong communication skills.

In this role you will be part of the Program Management team in our Professional Services Solution Engineering unit, which is responsible for delivering and operating embedded and backend customer solutions across their entire lifecycle for multiple industries including Automotive, Transport and Logistics and Public Sector. These solutions are being used by by millions of users day to day.
