Java/Scala Engineering Intern

What's the role?

We are looking for an Intern to join our team in Kraków area, Poland to be a part of an international group of over 50 nationalities who are creating services for the digital world of tomorrow.

We offer the opportunity for an internship to work on recent location / spatial data technology. You will be embedded and contributing to real world projects and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in building conflation solution (add 3rd party map to main map)
• Build Java libraries
• Expose features via REST services
• Deploy REST services in AWS stack
• Plug solutions into Scala based HERE Workflow blocks

Who are you?

You are a Software Engineer/GIScience/Geoinformatik student enrolled in an EU University, who is willing to take on the challenge of joining an agile organization that is doing groundbreaking work in the world of Spatial Data, Location Platform and Automotive Grade Software. Moreover, you should bring along the following skills:

• Programming in Java or Scala
• Ready to learn second technology as our projects are in both Java and Scala
• Documenting and presenting your work
• Open to learn new things, strengthen your software development skills, enjoy working and doing research in a tech team
• Communication skills in English and Polish
